Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

The Woodlands is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around The Woodlands is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great Staff! Friendly Greeting, called me back on time for appointment, great accommodating nurse, Dr Bradshaw is great And knows her business. Dr Bradshaw explained the how, what and why of the procedures in laymanβs terms. No hassles! Billing Lady Amber explained everything including the whys and generally what to expect from the insurance. In general, it is a very professional and personable Doctors office. And examining chairs are comfortable. Thank you for the experience.

Dr Zambrana After going through six different procedures and crowns, I honestly thought I was never going to save this tooth. My dentist asked me, βCan I just try one more time?β β and she made it happen! β€οΈ Iβm so grateful for her patience, dedication, and willingness to not give up on my tooth. She truly saved it! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile. π¦·

As a reluctant and A N X I O U S patient to Dentistry who has fanatically avoided Dental visits over 32 years, Desiree did an exceptional job with her demeanour and keeping my mind comfortable. I had no surprises or issues during my check-up with her and Dr. Sofos, and believe they are my best option for upcoming treatments and long-term care. The entire staff as well as their process of communication gave me detailed explanations and options moving forward. They treated me with compassion and dignity, and did not make me feel uneasy about any part of my visit. If you have uncertainty and anxiety about visiting Periodontists, or just want a great place to get treatment and care, you will be in good hands at the Woodlands Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. Follow Up: On 09/08/2026 I had the LANAP procedure done with Dr. Sofos. The Doctor and every single person from the from front desk to the Assistant made certain that they addressed all of my questions and concerns, and prior to my surgery, all of my anxieties were addressed. The procedure was pain-free and timely. Dr. Sofos even contacted me personally a few hours after my visit to check on me. That's a first for me from any medi

I cannot say enough about Dr. Sofos. I needed an implant and was referred to someone else locally who gave me about five minutes of his time and was rather insistent that I be fully sedated with propofol for one implant. I decided to see Dr. Sofos to get another opinion. Dr. Sofos spent quite a bit of time discussing ALL my sedation/anesthetic options and the pros and cons of each. In the end, I required only local numbing and some nitrous oxide. I could not have been more pleased with Dr. Sofos careful and deliberate work. Dr. Sofos has one of the best bedside manners I have seen in all my years of needing dental work. He is kind, patient, informative, sympathetic, and his work is impeccable. I cannot recommend Dr. Sofos enough!!

My name is Barbara Titza. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dr Bradshaw and her staff on Thursday 3/5. I have dental work that requires immediate attention and the expertise of a Periidontist. I once again I have hit the jackpot. Dentistry is not always well received because of the sensitivity of the area involved but when you are in very capable hands and your doctor has a caring and compassionate heart you win. There is a plan to take care of my issues and I know I will be well cared for. If for any reason you oral health depends on her services you will be grateful to have found her and put trust in her experience and care. Thank you to all the staff that made this a very positive experience.
